Saline Christian Academy is a ministry of Saline Baptist Church. Saline Baptist Church recognized the importance of Christian education. As a result, Saline Christian Academy was organized, and classes began in the basement of the church in the fall of 1976. Using the curriculum from Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) the school grew, and the need for larger facilities arose. A member of Saline Baptist Church, Cora Tarter, donated the land for a new school. In the fall of 1985, classes began in the new building which is located behind Saline Baptist Church.
